About UNAOTA
I am Laura Corrales, designer and visual artist. I work from observation, the language of matter, and the conversation between fullness and emptiness. My practice moves between watercolor, photography, and fragmentary writing, exploring the relationship between gesture, space, and silence.
I founded UNAOTA as a studio and as the natural universe of my way of seeing. A place where creation does not respond to urgency or trends, but to the time, observation, and silence needed for a work to make sense and be honest.
My work enters into dialogue with those who inhabit spaces. It seeks pieces that do not invade, but rather accompany with a subtle presence and evocative character.
If collaboration on a project is of interest, feel free to get in touch. Work is carried out with people who are committed to sensitivity, design, and intention.
UNAOTA collaborates with individuals, professionals and brands. Please include your company details when getting in touch.
"Observing a landscape, feeling a rhythm, or discovering that unexpected detail in the surroundings awakens sensations in me that later translate into color, shape, or texture. In my designs I do not seek to represent things literally, but rather to evoke, inspire, or invite a pause for a moment. The intention is for the decorative to cease being merely aesthetic and become a sensory experience that accompanies everyday life." - Laura Corrales UNAOTA Studio
